An apple a day keeps the doctor away…

        We have all heard the saying, “An apple a day, keeps the doc away”.  I’d like to say Snow White might have something to say about that. As a matter of fact, so do I. I’m sure it doesn’t hurt, but I highly doubt it is going to keep you outapple-slice of the dreaded doctors office. Although, there are things we can do everyday to keep our bodies healthier and happier. Instead of making those yearly resolutions, why not make small daily changes? I have always been an extremist when it comes to fitness. From the Master Cleanse, (when I decided not to eat for 7 days straight) (what was I thinking??) , to juicing anything and everything in my kitchen until my dishwasher was drowning in pulp (therefore not working) Oh, and let us not forget the bodybuilding competitions. It takes a lot of discipline to do all of those things, but it takes much more, to choose to live a healthy, balanced, DAILY lifestyle. I decided, it is time to make that change.
