Whole Grain Pasta got me like

People hear pasta and they think, too many calories. Ditto. But we need carbohydrates to fuel our bodies, whole grain pasta is full of fiber and actually has a bit of protein in it too. Great meal after leg day. I made this last night and it was delish. I used the brand Organics . It’s 180 calories for two ounces, which is about a cup full when spaghetti-with-sprimp-artichokes-and-feta-5-443x620cooked. Then I chopped up some garlic (about two cloves) and sautéed it in 2 tablespoons olive oil. I threw in 1 cup diced tomato, 1 cup mushrooms  and 1 cup shrimp – let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Once the spaghetti was done, I drained the water and put all the goods in the pot, adding the pesto (that I bought pre-made) .  Add salt and pepper to taste. I am for sure no chef, this was quick and easy, just the way I like it. 1 serving is about 500 calories. That’s a pretty light pasta dish if you ask me. Add a small salad to the meal and boom! dinner is served.
