Unpopular opinion; I hate all the ultra fluffy self care posts. I get it- loving yourself is super important. Taking time once in awhile to pamper yourself is also important. There is no reason you should be running yourself into the ground without a second of peace and quiet. I especially feel this for all the parents out there. But can we all agree that some of the insta pages are taking it too far? I saw a quote that said “One day you’ll be exactly where you wanted to be”UM. Yeah, I guess if you do the things necessary to get you there. Work hard. Push your body. Get off the computer. Get off the couch. Stop doing the same 💩 you did last year. Self Care Saturday = Movement. Self Care Sunday = Schedule & Week Prep. #fitnessgoals2021

It’s really easy to wake up and have a muffin or a pastry and coffee or to sleep in an extra hour. But it’s much harder to wake up 10 years from now with an extra 20 lbs on your joints, or low muscle mass or with diabetes or heart failure. The victim mentality will hold you back forever, the excuses and the blame game will do you no service. Do the hard stuff now. Make TINY sacrifices now -in comparison to the massive burden of poor health that you will endure later- if you don’t change now. #newyearnewyou right?
